Crabtree Music Library has raised the bar for what you expect from a sample pack. Crabtree Music Library Volume 6 is the sixth library of original compositions from producer MTK, and the personal favorite of the composer himself. This pack includes 15 samples with the soulful vibe beat heads have came to expect from the Crabtree series, but this volume is the first with a prominent usage of live instrumentation: Trumpets, alto sax, strings, vocalists and guitars can be heard throughout the 15 compositions, providing the warmth and texture that only a human can provide.
The musicians behind these layers are from a diversity of backgrounds, ranging from the greater Seattle area, to international talent from Serbia and Egypt, with each musician bringing their own unique style into playing.
As a producer, MTK's production has been heard with hip hop legends like Mobb Deep, Cam'ron, Raekwon, Royce Da 5'9, and Lloyd Banks. The quality of the Crabtree compositions has attracted a diverse cast of producers, ranging from reigning trap kings 808 Mafia, to production legends like Jake One and !llmind, and leaders of the new underground like Statik Selektah and Daringer, the man behind the Griselda records sound. The intent of this library is to provide soulful arrangements that sound different from other collections on the market for creatives to turn into their own, make dope, and release them into the world.
