Minta Foundry Royalty-Free License Agreement
Upon payment of the license fee (“License Fee”) associated with any sound recording or sample provided via this website (each, a “Sample”), we (MINTA FOUNDRY) grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the Sample in combination with other sounds in music productions to create new recordings (“Recording(s)”). Each such Recording shall be considered a “derivative work” as defined under the United States Copyright Act of 1976, as amended. This license permits you to modify, reproduce, and use the Sample as incorporated in your Recording pursuant to the following terms and conditions:
3. No Additional Royalties or Clearances:
All Samples subject to this agreement are royalty-free, meaning no additional royalty payments, revenue splits, or clearance agreements are required for either minor or major releases.
4. Permitted Uses:
a) You may publicly perform, distribute, and transmit Recordings incorporating the Sample without restrictions on streaming numbers or label size.
b) You may use the Samples in commercial projects, including independent releases, beat tapes, mixtapes, advertisements, or music distributed via major or independent labels, without additional licensing fees or approvals.
5. Prohibited Uses
a) The Sample may not be used or sublicensed in isolation (e.g., as sound effects, loops, or source material for any other standalone sample product), even if modified.
b) The Sample may not be sublicensed, sold, loaned, shared, lent, broadcast, rented, leased, assigned, distributed, or transferred in its original form to any third party. Redistribution of the Sample as part of new sample packs is strictly prohibited.
6. Prohibited Representations:
a) You may not use the name, image, or likeness of the artist or producer associated with a Sample without their express written permission.
7. License Ownership Requirement:
If you did not purchase the Samples directly from MINTA FOUNDRY or one of our authorized distributors, you are not permitted to use these Samples royalty-free. Without proper purchase, you do not hold a valid license to use the Samples, and any use will be considered unauthorized.
